Crowdergy
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to the Crowdergy iOS app, the Crowdergy Home Assistant connector, the Crowdergy Box and the Crowdergy backend API. The provider is:
Colin Wilke Consulting
Pfarrer-Holl-Weg 43
40489 Düsseldorf, Germany
Email: info@crowdergy.de
1. Scope
By registering for and using the Crowdergy services you accept these terms. Crowdergy is currently in beta in Germany; individual features may change.
2. Use of the crowd preset data
The device presets provided through the Crowdergy API (entity and value mappings, manufacturer and model data) are intended solely for configuring your own Crowdergy installation. Systematically extracting, reproducing or passing on this data – in particular for use in or for building third-party or competing products – is not permitted.
3. Disclaimer
Through the devices you have enabled and the mapped Home Assistant entities, Crowdergy switches and controls real devices in your home (heat pumps, EV chargers, battery storage and others). You are responsible for ensuring that the devices, entities and values you choose – in particular minimum and maximum temperatures – are safe and permissible for your installation (for example legionella protection for hot water, frost protection, manufacturer specifications). To that extent, control is at your own risk.
Crowdergy is in beta and is provided without warranty of uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors, or any particular optimisation or savings results. The open-source components are provided without warranty under the terms of their respective licence (MIT).
For damage to devices or installations, or consequential damage, the provider is liable only in cases of intent or gross negligence and for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations); in cases of slight negligence, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Liability for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health and liability under the German Product Liability Act remain unaffected. Otherwise liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
4. Changes
Changes to these Terms of Use are documented here. Materially updated versions are announced to users in the app.
